Annual Report Case Study
Client:Follett Higher Education Group, the nation's largest operator of college bookstores, with more than 800 locations in the U.S. and Canada.. Objective:To create a 2010 Annual Report that effectively communicates Follett's achievements, partnerships, technology advances, and new programs for the past fiscal year. The Challenge:To visually express Follett's 2010 theme, "A Focus on Affordability," while maintaining their unique collegiate brand identity. The Solution:Sophisticated, clean design suggests a straightforward academic approach. Creative photography included the use of highlighted photos to focus attention, textbook photos to identify subject concentration, bookstore and Internet photos to convey technologies, and studying and celebrating student photos to set the emotional tone. Results:The Annual Reports were received with accolades in both U.S. and Canadian markets. Plus, both reports were printed with diminished environmental impact using both 100% recycled and 60% post-consumer waste paper stocks. |
